WHO IS SUSTAINABLE SURF HOLIDAYS?

We are surfers and travelers, passionate about nature and committed to making a positive impact. We launched this project because we believe it’s possible to travel more sustainably—both for the planet and for the local communities we visit. With a bit of research, we’ve discovered many inspiring initiatives, especially within the surf industry, that are actively working to reduce their environmental footprint. Our goal is to make it easy and accessible for everyone to make more eco-conscious choices when booking their travels.

While we don’t fool ourselves and we recognize that it’s nearly impossible to travel in a completely sustainable way, but we believe that doing something is better than doing nothing. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to minimize the environmental impact of every trip booked through our website.

Sustainable Surf Holidays is our way to give back to the things we love. We’re personally committed to donating 15% of our profits to organizations like Sea Shepherd, which works tirelessly to protect ocean ecosystems, or Rain Forest Alliance, who work to protect forests, biodiversity, livelihoods and human rights. Additionally, for every booking made through our links, we’ll plant at least one tree by donating to One Tree Planted, an organization dedicated to global reforestation.
